2. The student is the measure Out of the Catholic philosophy of life the student is seen as a unique person. |
3. Education in measure We take the differences between students as point of departure for our educational programmes which are aimed to further develop these different talents.
4. Quality and virtue Our education is aimed at the achievement of good exam results.
5. Great and great by small Because of our high amount of students and large capacity Teylingen College has the possibility to provide a wide range of educational opportunities. The education is given in three locations, so in each respective location the students are in a relative small and trusted environment in which students and teachers know each other well.
6. Aimed at the future Our education is aimed at the future. With that we mean: we spend a lot of care to the qualifying of students for their further education, labour market and society.
7. Education is work of people Education is in the first place an activity done for and by people. The quality of our education depends on the quality of the man or the woman who teaches the class. His or her inspiration, passion and expression are of major influence.

Counselling
This is what our school does in the field of counselling for students: every class has a mentor, who stays in contact with the students in the class. Next to that there is extra training for dyslexia (Kurzweil), social skills, self-confidence, prevention of exam fear and a structure class for hyperactive students. The College also has a social worker in the school. Social Internships (MaS) MaS is volunteering by students: they are committed to work for a non-commercial organisation.
